SOLUTION FOCUSED TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY

I have over 24 years experience working with children young people and families. I have spent many years specializing in early intervention and preventative work and a significant part of my career was spent in London.

I have been involved in a lot of very exciting and innovative projects and leading edge work particularly in the 90s in when early intervention work was relatively new

I have worked in very diverse settings with all age groups and have experience in Project development/ management and have strong leadership skills.

I remain very enthusiastic about using the Solution Focused Approach, which I feel can have such a powerful impact on People’ lives. It is empowering, inspiring and has so many creative ways in which to use the approach. It has a very ‘natural fit’ with children/Y.P who are very adept at creating their own solutions to problems.

I have had my work published showing the excellent results it achieves especially with children who are at risk of exclusion or who have behavioral and/or emotional challenges.

My basic philosophy is that of the Solution Focused Motto: “if it isn’t broke don’t fix it’ and If something works then do more of it!“
